Dr Weevil's Ascension

The current ruler of Chemnos is a man who goes by the name Dr Weevil, originally Sujan Epps. He began as a native of the country, a small business owner who sold specialized forms of food staples like oat flour and raw cane sugar. Now, he's the Overlords of the country, and it is all thanks to this particular battle.
Thlmin and his atrocities are well documented. Going far beyond the usual Evil, he was genuinely reviled.
The primary facts are these: Epps entered the palace to discuss a trade contract with one of Thlmin's advisors. Two hours later, Thlmin was dead at Sujan's hand, and he was letting members of his apparent cabal into the palace for a total takeover. According to those involved, there was very little planning involved in the transition between Epps, small business owner, and Weevil, Lord of the Darkness. This seems implausible until one considers just how broadly Thlmin was disliked and thus how easy it would be to develop the forces needed for a coup very quickly.

Beginning Setup

Thlmin was ensconced in his throne room in Majar Palace. The advisor that Sujan Epps was meant to meet had an office more to the exterior of the palace. At some point during the meeting, a lockdown was declared for an unrelated Hero attack that was ultimately inconsequential.
Someone attempted to arrest Sujan, and during this process took him to the prisoner holding cells that are in the mid-ring of the palace. Sujan broke out.
