Ponairean Seolta

(unpolished) Viking hall, with high ceilings and lots of wood and fun carvings and things to throw when the guy at the next table is being a jackass. Also plenty of tables for each Clan. It’s a warmer wood space, and somehow it hasn’t burned down. There’s some magic allowing for that, but also in a society without a lot of rules, this is one of the spaces that remains sacrosanct and no one messes with it. Rafters to swing down from. Multiple floors, to make sure that the council gets to be over the rest of the city. Lots of windows and a decent balcony around the edges to be able to view the whole space. It can get quite chilly so there’s a central fireplace, that also serves the purpose of not allowing anyone to dominate the center because there’s literally always a bonfire level fire going. There are a number of lower floors (it’s kind of a weird skyscraper) with offices and rooms for the clan chiefs to stay. All on the same level, of course, so lower tiers are large enough to accommodate eight suites for important people. There are elevators but they’re subtle and blend into the background.

Ponairean Seolta (crazy beans) is the name of the clan hall, and the town it’s located in (not the capital) is Ochdinean (roughly Eight Clans).
