Districts
Tradesman's Wharf
A miles long district spanning down the length of the river than the city is built around that is covered in warehouses and headquaters for the various trading companies that opperate out of Helmoth. Because of the city's identity as a trade hub most of the merchants in the city can be found along the river here, exporting and importing a lot of their wares - this allows a lot of the Bounty Hunter's Guild members to have access to a wide range of weapons and magic items from across the three continents.Financier's Quay
Along the western bank of the river sits Financier's Quay, a half mile quayside that has the city's banks. The area is very decroative, withHistory
The town of Helhu was established in the early 2nd era of Rularia, orginally being a part of Clan Brokenswords land, the Dwarves who built this riverside town were miners working in the gold and silver mines in the mountains up river, the name Helhu meaning Ore Town in Dwarvish. Overtime the town grew, but became a major trade anchor for the ores mined to the north near the end of Rularia's 3rd era, this was due to two brother who lived in the town realising how benifical trading from the town itself rather than sending the ores down coast to Tullenfield could be. Starting out small with only two trade vessels between them, the brothers grew their new company making sure that any additional profit they had was put back into the people of the city, ensuring the miners were well paid and their families cared for.
Eventually this trade boom bolstered the brothers standing in the town, becoming Lords of the city and eventually leading them to anex themselves from Clan Brokensword and establish the ninth Ixmorian ruling Clan, Clan Goldclaw, renaming the city to Helmoth meaning Ore Central City in Dwarvish.

Merchants
The Blue Moon
A store of magical trinkets and wondorous items, most of which have come from Erendoc or Venka. The owner, a half-Dwarf half-Orc named Khurun Multistone, is known throughout the city for having the most unique wears in all of Ixmoria, and is known for his catchphrase, 'You'll need this, but maybe only once in a blue moon', hence the shops name. Khurun is alway open to a deal, and recognises the value of repeat customers. The store is situated on the river side, with its own small quayside for the ships that bring the magic items to the store. It has two stories, and a basement. The basement is used as storage for new items before they are appraised for purchase, with a direct access to the quayside. The first floor is filled with odd trinkets and minor magical items, things from snowglobes that reflect the weather for the day ahead, or a bottle of rum that has a small ship sailing inside. The second floor has items of more impressive power, though no weapons, staff's or wands, the shelves are stocked with other wondorous items of power for sale. The Blue Moon is also the Blood Hunters Guild's prefered store in town, and offers different merchandise to Blood Hunters, or people that a Blood Hunter vouches for. This additional mechandise includes potions, and some weapons - thought most Blood Hunters have thier own perfered weapon so don't often buy weapons from Khurun.Guilds
Bounty Hunters Guild
The Bounty Hunter's Guild, a recognised organisation across Rularia, and has expanded into Erendoc, and beginning to expand into Venka. The original guild was established in Horan's Rise during Rularia's 4th era, and grew as Rularia became a united front. The Helmoth branch of the Guild follows the architecture of the city, like the guild's halls are known to do. The Helmoth hall is a two story building with a vast underground basement, this came about as the area the hall is built on once housed three buildings used for shops that went out of business or moved to a larger location as the city grew, because of this parts of the building include these old exteriors being joined together with extensions and reconstruction as well as access to the large underground storehouse that the three buildings shared. The ground floor of the building has the exteriors of the old buildings, made with the Oreston bricks along its base and foundations, with Black Cedar wooden pannels and posts. The old entrances to these builds have been replaced, with the two that face the north east and south west of the building being rebuilt with large mahogany doors constantly open for people, and the third entrance being a smaller door that leads into the back offices of the guild representatives. The interior of the ground floor is seperated with a large lobby like area with bounty boards and a round tavern in the centre with bartenders serving the members of the guild, on the south eastern corner of the room there is a small receptionist desk with a door labeled 'Offices' behind her. Inside that door is two small offices, the third entrance, and a staircase leading upstairs to more offices. Along the north wall of the building is a spiral stair case that leads up and down. The basement of the building has small to medium sized rooms each with a bed, washbucket and secure safe that people using the rooms can store their items whilst out on jobs in the city or just out in the city not wanting to carry everything with them. The rooms each have an arcane lock only allowing people with the correct key, or a master key that only the halls Governer has, can open. With each room accessed by corridors, with at the end wall on the southern corridor is a door that opens up into the cities sewers, but again this door is locked via an arcane lock that only the Governer has acess too. The second floor is filled with officies used by the guild representative, with the largest office along the eastern corner belonging to the Governer of the branch. The Governers office is filled with Dwarven artefacts from across Ixmoria's history, as well as a Tal artefact an obsidian encrusted sword hilt, with no blade and yellow rune in the Tal script that glow faintly. The Governer of the Helmoth branch is a Dwarven gentleman named Dur'drin.Blood Hunter's Respite
The Helmoth River has many bridges that connect the city together, the oldest of which is Stirix, Dwarvish for first bridge. Underneath the bridge, in the muddy shorelines, sits a recess into the wall, the wall once activated by a Blood Hunter tracing the Dwarven rune for their Order, Altered, Dead, Moon or Vampiric, wall shimmers, leading into a set of stairs, that head downwards. After descending for a while the steps open up into a large round room, with three large doors dotted around. In the centre of the room is a statue of a large Basilisk, with what looks like a human/wolf hybrid creature fighting it. The Helmoth Hunter's Respite is ran by an member of the Order of the Moon, specifically a member of the Sect of the Wolf. The leader is called Raian Battlescarred, an elderly Dwarf in his early 300, he was one of the first Blood Hunters of Oxdara, and the man responsible for establishing the Order of the Moon. His hair has long grown grey, with a long well kept beard braided and interwoven with silver thread. He wears long robes, with bare feet, and a white and oynx kilt. He is always carrying an enchanted cane, that when activated summons a spectral axe head in the shape of a cresent moon.Government Buildings
Goldclaw Manor
The Goldclaw Manor is the house and seat of government for Clan Goldclaw, a large walled complex with a large manor house, turreted gate, and a smaller house for the Officers of the Clan's army. The manor sits along the river, with a private dock for the Lords personal ships. Orginially the manor sat at the outskirts of the city, the house itself sitting on one of the few hills, providing the building with elevation over the rest of the city, not for a class hierarchy but as a defence to the city, officers and guards being able to see over the whole city. As the city expanded the manor became surrounded, with the walled complex allowing the retainment of the wild garden the brother cultivated. The complete walled complex encompasses 20 acres, with the manor, officiers quarters, personal quayside and gardens all situated within. The large manor is a four story building, with a two floored cellar, from the outside the building shrinks in with a 5-10ft balcony and that extendeds slightly over the top of the first floor wall; the fourth story only extends on the wings, with the middle of the building ending on the third story. The centre of the building comes to a flat roof, after a small tiled incline, with a roof top garden, vines and bushes growing out and down the exterior of the building. The tops of the wings come up into dormer roofs with 3 large windows that look out towards the east and west of the cityArchitecture
The city of Helmoth has come to be known as the Golden City or the Shining Port due to the use of the gold and silver mined from the north of the city in the architecture. Nearly all the buildings in the city have golden or silver details, causing the city to shine in the sunlight. Most of the buildings are built from stone bricks made of local oreston, a dark gray stone with a very low amount of precious ore creating streaks of gold and silver throughout the stones. The wooden elements of the city's buildings are made with the local cedar and oak woods, Ixmorian Black Cedar and Old Dwarven Stoneoaks - the Cedar, like its name would suggest, a dark, almost black, brown and the Stoneoak being a lighter coloured grayish wood that is extremely hard and weather resistant.
Geography
The city sits along both sides of the river that runs down from the mountains towards the ocean, being built on relatively flat terrain but as the city expanded building close to the foothills of the mountains. The region is very flat with no dense forest areas nearby offering the city a great defensive position and sightlines for miles past the city.
Climate
The climate of Helmoth is generally quite fair for Ixmoria, the worst weather it has it comes from the mountains above with highwinds and rain not uncommon but much less than in other areas of Ixmoria like Lakeside or Serpent's Eye. Helmoth expriences summers of around 14-17 degrees with winters around 0-5 degrees on average.
