Il'irii
History
The most recent observence of Il'irii happened when Queen Ara'elle Keliana was crowned, the first monarch to be crowned since the freezing of Ithual, and the establishment of Estariell as the capital. She was taken to the young woodland, and bathed in the fey lake. She has been noted as saying that the ritual gave her a sense of calm, and that whilst submerged she had visions of the Feywild, and the Eladrin that live there. Distance cousins to the Erandulian Elves, and that she saw this vision as a calling, to bridge the gap between Oxdara and the Feywild, and connect the Elven people together across planes.
Lady Venmoria, who was acting monarch of Erandule following the War against the Dark Wing Empire, refused to have Il'irii take place for her, as she never had any intention of ruling Erandule for a prolonged period, nor be it's Queen, making her the first and only Erandulian monarch who didn't partake in Il'irii.
Execution
After the new monarch is crowned, they are taken into the cities royal woodlands - a forest that exists inside the city, historically in Ithual it was around the southern wall, now in Estariell it is surrounding the royal palace that was built after Estariell was named as the new capital. In the royal woodlands the monarch is brought to natural body of water, in Estariell it is the Fey lake, a small lake fed by an underground spring, that has a small portal to the feywild, allowing for fey flora and fauna to live around the lakeside.
The monarch is disrobed of their crown, and outerwear and is brought into the water. They are then lowered into the water, cleansing them and rasining them as a fresh person, a fresh monarch for Erandule. Transitioning from the prince/princess/noble they were before, and becoming the King/Queen of Erandule and begin a new era for Erandulian history.
