The Gods of Rularia's ascendant were chosen by Bahamut and Tiamat from the Tal descendants to counter balance the influx of new Gods coming to the plane in the wake of the war against the Old Gods. The Dragonborn empires in Venka slowly began to follow these new Gods, looking to Bahamut and Tiamat less and less, but when the Polentine Empire left Venka to become Polantia in Rularia, Bahamut and Tiamat wanted the flegdling nation to have Gods of their own, like the other Rularian had before them. The Primordial Dragons chose from the Ancient Dragons of the world to ascend.
