Keamon (Key-Ah-Mon)
Basic Information
Anatomy
Keamon are short creatures, with two arms and two legs, and are known to walk on two legs and on four; when they use their arms as legs, they are capable of sprinting much faster than on just the back legs. They have tails, though some speices have very short tails, and five toes on their feet and four fingers and a thumb on thier hands. Their fingers and toes end in small claws.
Biological Traits
Keamon is the general name for three subspieces, as all Keamon seemed to evolve from similar species of animals, Otters, Weasels, and Badgers. They are often compared and thought similar to another species of small beastial folk, the Inealine or Mongooseborn.
All Keamon are naturally mischievous, known to play pranks and jokes on their close friends and family. Sometime these pranks extend to people outside their close connections, and they are not always well recieved by people who don't know or are unaware of them.
Otterborn
Otterborn are semi-aquatic creatures, often found around lakes or the coast. Otterborn seem to have only evolved from Otters but from a wide variety of them depending on where they live, including sea otters, hairy-nosed otters, river otters, and giant otters.Weaselborn
Weaselborn are much longer than their cousins, prefering to live in the open plains and fields. Weaselborns didn't only evolve from weasel's but other similar animals including stoats, ferrets, minks and polecats.Badgerborn
Badgerborn tend to be either proud and powerful warriors or reserved and intelligent leaders, evolving from either the honey badger or Erendocian Badger (Eurasian Badger in real world terms).Dietary Needs and Habits
Keamon are mainly carnivourous, though some subspeices like the Otterborn prefer fish to game, and some are omnivorous.

Geographic Origin and Distribution
Otterborn are found typically around lakes and coastlines, the largest collection of Otterborn being in Waterine in the Violet Forest. Badgerborn tend to live around forests and savannahs, creating small underground cities with a few watch towers on the surface to keep watch for hostile parties. Weaselborn tend to live in plains and grasslands, as well as in urban area's, when living outside of cities they tend to form a community around a small collection of trees, building homes around the base, and important buildings in the canopies connected by bridges or single ropes that the Weaselborn run across.
