History & Usage
Discovery
Discovered in Erendoc in the years following the dismantling of the Ivory Order, after the Dark Star Rebellion war. The newly founded scientific havens that the Aether twins became, the catalyst for this scientific boom, was the discovery of the Miloran crystals in the Carlwater mountains. The first of these crystals was a large gemstone that would be used to power the floating laboratory of the Aether twins.
Everyday use
From power generators in Aetherland walkways and lifts to the Lightboxes, and in recent years the airships of Erendoc. The raw Miloran crystal has no real use to everyday people, instead, the refined crystals being used in a variety of technologies across Oxdara.
Refinement
Whilst the Miloran crystals serve no real purpose in their raw forms, refined crystals, gone through a process of energy transference, via heat or electricity awaken the magic deep within the crystals.
Raw Miloran crystals can be used in spellcasting, many spells created by the Artificers of Aetherland using Miloran crystals.
