Todoshka

Basic Information

Anatomy

Todoshka are on average a tall, lean species, with two arms and two legs and are plantigrades, walking on the soles of their feet, with their toes and soles flat on the ground. Todoshka have 5 toes on each foot, and four fingers and a thumb on each hand.
Todoshka are a unique case in the Tal descendants, where the Tal descendants in Rularia evolved and adapted to the continent in the wake of Rularia's splitting, the Todoshka left Rularia to find new lands, like the Tardoren. Whilst the Tardoren settled in Erendoc and adapted and evolved to the desert and badlands they came to call home, the Todoshka found the hidden land of Udosix, once thought to be the Dragon's hidden paradise, overtime other speices came to live behind the mist veil that shrouds Udosix from the rest of the world, the Todoshka included. 
The raw natural connection to the Life Force of Oxdara that Udosix has, caused the Todoshka not to evolve as drastically as the Rularian people or the Tardoren, and are as close to a full blood Tal as any speices on the plane.

Genetics and Reproduction

Dwarves, like all Tal descendants, are mammalian and reproduce via internal fertilisation and a live birth, after 9 months. 
A unique trait that the Todoshka have is that most births result in twins, if not triplets, with 7 out of 10 births being twins, 2 out of 10 being triplets and 1 out of 10 being single children. Most Todoshka doctors and researchers believe this to be the result of the Todoshka deep connection to the Life Force; the connection so powerful that it rarely produces just one child. In the cases that a child is born as a single their magic and abilities are extremely potent and often unstable.

Growth Rate & Stages

Todoshka go through their childhood and adolesence during their first two decades, being classed as an adult by 19. It is during the adolesence years that a Todoshka will being to take greater control and understanding of their abilities and powers.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

The Todoshka have a minor extrasensory ability akin to Truesight, they are able to detect the underlying and subtle idiosyncrasies of a person soul and connection to the Life Force of Oxdara. Most Todoshka can only detect this connection with those within a few feet of them, but the most adept with this ability can notice a person entering building the otherside of the street, all without even seeing them, making those with this adept mastery of the ability perfect scouts and recon personel.
