PA Standard Commands

Origins

PA Standard Commands, also known as Peacekeeper Alliance Standard Commands, were invented by the Peacekeeper Efficiency organisation within the Peacekeeper Alliance in order to expediate communications within The Alliance.
It is designed around the language Primian, because this is what the majority of Peacekeepers speak and it makes it easier to learn.

Uses

Commands

PA Standard Commands are used primarily by the Peacekeeper Command for issuing commands both internally and to people working within the Three Pillars who report into them.

Reports

Communications to Peacekeeper Command need to be equally efficient. Reports from each of the planets within the Peacekeeper Territories are required regularly. Reports are also sent regularly within the Three Pillars.

Emergencies

In the case that an emergency occurs on one of the planets either within the Peacekeeper Territories or beyond its borders on one of the planets that the Diplomatic branch are investigating, it is important that they are able to get in touch with Command as quickly as possible.

Writing System

PA Standard Commands are constructed using the first two to three letters at the beginning of the Primian word for the instruction. They are then structured in the following way to give a clear sense of meaning:

1. Who
2. What
3. Where
4. When
5. How

Not all of these sections need to be addressed, but they are always done so in this order. The words are placed next to each other with the capital letters indicating when a new word starts. Single pipes (|) are used to indicate the end of a thought and the return to the beginning of the structure listed above. Double pipes (||) are used to indicate the end of a message.

For Example

Fighting breaks out on Asor - known within Peacekeeper Command as Planet A2.13-22.33. See Categorisation of Peacekeeper Planet Types for more details on how the planets are categorised and what these are abbreviated to. Asor Command requires help.

They would want to send a message to Command, letting them know that people were causing a threat to the planet, and that military assistance was needed. With the words in full, they would want to send the following message:

People Threat Planet A2.13-22.33. Military Send Here Now.

Each word has a two to three letter equivalent from Primian original word. People would be Fo, Threat would be Tru and so on.
The message then becomes:

Tenses

There are no tenses in PA Standard Commands. Everything is more or less present tense. There are, as with everything, a few exceptions to that. For example, if something is going to happen on a specific date, the rest of the message may be in the present tense, but the date is in the past or future.
For example

Planet Loyalty signed the peace treaty on 7 One 4657PT. I will take the resources to P'Ache Solar Systm on 17 Four 4657PT.

Becomes

Planet Loyalty Sign Treaty 7 One 4657. I I Take Resource P'Ache Solar System 17 Four 4657.

Which then becomes
