Born in one of the kobold tribes living underneath a city, Phasnos' specific group was working on expanding the sewer system on the outskirts of the city for the people above, when disaster struck. The tunnels breached a laboratory for studying oozes and other such creatures, which quickly swarmed into the new space, killing many of their tribe. Though the tribe was successful in sealing off the tunnels, many females of the tribe were lost. Like all kobolds, Phasnos possesses the ability to shift gender over time based upon the needs of the tribe in certain situations, and so slowly shifted as a result of the dire straits. However, even as she and others made this change, the tribe was still in a lot of trouble, and Phasnos started taking to the streets in order to steal or barter for necessary supplies to help offset what the tribe could no longer make for herself.

Personal history

However, even as she and others made this change, the tribe was still in a lot of trouble, and Phasnos started taking to the streets in order to steal or barter for necessary supplies to help offset what the tribe could no longer make for herself.
She became a con artist, scamming people out of gold through forging documents, running shell games, and more. She learned some small pieces of magic as well, to help her disguise herself and to make her games more effective. As time went on, her speed and dexterity became nearly impeccable.
Eventually, as the city she was living in became consumed by the Heartfire disease, she and several other adventurers managed to slay the demon responsible, with Phasnos acquiring the Prime Rune of Wildfire, and becoming a Demon herself. However, due to this, and due to the city becoming a plane of its own, she was forced to stay behind to allow the party to escape.
Gender Identity
Gender-fluid. She preferred being male, before, but that was more for convenience and pleasure than any real sense of gender identity, as kobolds otherwise have little need for gender.
Sexuality
Bisexual. A slight aversion towards sex with men due to having previously been a top in that regard, and now lacking the parts.
Education
Phasnos is not traditionally educated. She learned much of what she needed to know growing up with her tribe. Her fighting style and stealth were necessities due to her small size. Picking up magic from other members of the thieves guild for a small fee is the extent of her classical training.
Employment
Phasnos is a former thief and con artist. Nowadays, she is a demon lord.

Once completely failed sneaking into a cultist's headquarters to such a degree that literally everyone involved could see her... And just watched as she continued to make a fool of herself.
Mental Trauma
Phasnos is extremely terrified of both cave-ins and slimes, due to events in her youth with her tribe. She also somewhat resents her body, having not desired to become a woman.
Morality & Philosophy
"The tribe is most important." The tribe, admittedly, is any group that she is directly associated with and connected to, like her adventuring group. That said, if there is no chance of saving others, even at the cost of herself, she will happily save herself. She is still rather evil.

Ultimately, is still rather selfish, and amoral. Will happily steal from others if they're not her 'pack' or 'tribe', and has no qualms killing others. Will also save herself if she views a situation as hopeless, or if she feels only one person could be saved.

Phasnos -adores- being nice and clean, the better for her silks and other nice clothes to look particularly nice. However, her realm is a storm of constant fire and fighting, desperation, and more... It is nearly impossible to remain completely clean.
