Session XXXI: Lost in Time

General Summary

Dorn's Vision

After Dorn prayed to Mystra for guidance, he received a short vision of his sphere in peace and the need to kill the Void Knight.

Zyvran'Korinor

Adventurers travelled to Zyvran'Korinor, the place that Lathander showed to Godren. They manaaged to find the temple burried beneath the sand and during night the sand started to fall down through cracks of lights. After a while, they were standing in front of large doors, which opened when Dorn took a gold coin and aimed it at them. They've found some stories about probably gods of this civilization, which adventurers thought were First People, in the temple in form of hieroglyphs. They've understood it to some part and walked through the temple as they found some trials they walked through to uncover the hidden recipe how to create Sun Disk, ancient technology of this civilization that was build by the assistence of their gods which allowed them to once in a while ascend one of their kind to semi-divinity, beyond mortal powers. Godren took the responsibility and absorbed the knowledge of how to create such thing. Godren also had a vision, where he saw gigantic golden circle, half-broken laying beneath the sand and enormous monster rising from it.

Downtime

After their exploring of these ruins, they've returned to their castle. They've took sword from their hired adventurers they've found in their dungeon. For Kai it was weak magic weapon at the moment, so she left it at their castle. Adventurers send their hired group on another part of this quest, to fetch ring that opens another level.

Numeria

They had some days extra so they decided to make some exploration. Darian teleported them to almost random location and they've appeared in druid grove in Numeria, near its capital city. They've visited the city but it was completely lifeless, everything was like the war ended few weeks ago. They've spoke with one of the guards in the city who told them about near location with large globe around it and void-like island.

They've decided to visit the globe and found wasteland that seemed like after some enormous sonic wave. At the opposite end, they've found untouched part, which was enveloped by translucent globe and in it, there was monastery with completely different culture and biomes.

Then adventurers tried to explore the purple island which they found out that is covered by Void for at least 100 years. However it is completely isolated. They found out that some organization is harvesting some "stones" that appear to make corruption of void and they are making special food in form of crystals that if used, suppress any corruption that might occur to the person. They visited the organization and spoke with them, taking from them doses for 5 weeks.

Wildspace

After that, they've jumped on their spelljammer and traveled to Wildspace, where they've met Giff who defeated Nautiloid and were currently looting it, then group of giant spell hammsters, which Kai adopted and before leaving Wildspace her god transported them somewhere so they don't die of old age in Astral Plane where Kai couldn't enjoy their presence. They also met large solar dragon that attacked their ship and left shortly after combat started.

Astral Sea

After that, they've traveled through their crystalic sphere to Astral Sea, where they visited The Vault, where they store samples from all flora and fauna across multiple Wildspaces to preserve everything possible. Then they visited Zess' Forge, where they chilled for a while after several days on their travel - almost a half a year in Astral Sea and Wildspace and started thinking about Dorn's condition.
