Session XXXII: Void within

General Summary

Dorn's Mind

They've left Tess' Forge and traveled on their Spelljammer further into Astral Sea. On their way, they decided its time to help Dorn with his Void corruption and through his own spell entered his mind. They've walked through some of his memories and also found void within him. He managed to reduce great part of it and take it under control. Dorn managed to survive and possibly even thrive with void within himself but it changed him, at least visually.

Void Knight

Dorn's refusal and fight with Void called Void Knight. After three months of travelling in Astral Sea, he finally found them and Dorn felt that. He attacked their spelljammer and tried to steal Dorn's scroll, but adventurers refused to let him leave, so they followed and after few minutes of chase, he was forced to face them again. He decimated them, but Amelia called for Nezos's help and he summoned his Avatar, facing the Void Knight with them, this was finally enough and they managed to slay him. His corpse alongside with corpse of his Astral Dragon vanished in the air and only Void Shard remained, which Dorn absorbed to heal his Void wounds.

God of Time

Then they've travelled to corpse of first and also last god of time, whose mark they had on their forearms. When they entered it, they saw different parts of their past. Amelia met Nezos before he was even vampire, just settling down in Feywild. Darian met Morvok as he was studying near Candlekeep in Numeria, sane and normal. Dorn saw familiar family member to make deal with some hooded figure to which he felt some kind of connection. Kai saw the origin of her "artifact" that is hearth of Tarrasque - it was simply stolen by her nation from heroic adventurer, one of those whose divine weapons they are trying to find. Her god killed this man just so his nation could get their hands on this artifact. This experience and similar thoughts and feeling connected her to previous wilder and her body adapted and accepted what remained, water from her trident that left her before entering Astral Sea returned and formed in her divine weapon. 

Money Making

Then they've spent over four years in Astral Sea, trying to get some money to pay the crew and also to payback Spider's loan for killing Void Knight even though he specifically asked to keep him alive. They mined special crystals, which are very rare in Astral Sea and sold them, later exchanging large sum of these valuable resources for golds on Material Plane, so they were able to return with half a milion gold.

Feywild

Then they took portal to Feywild from Astral Sea, where Amelia felt her last part was - the portal itself. It transported them to some desert, domain in Feywild of unknown fey. They found battlefield of elves, dwarves and human fighting against lesser voidborns. On the battlefield they've found also large minotaur with hammer stucked in his body, which they after some hesitation pulled out - it was Amelia's divine weapon but it was dormant. It wanted blood of voidborn and until it will be satisfied its no more than slightly better hammer.

Home

From Feywild they've teleported back to Material Plane, to their castle. As they started getting comfortable after over 4 years on ship, they received sending from Spider - to teleport right now to specific location, so they did. They saw decimated Void being and over its body - Borygen. He was the one who killed the being and most importantly - he survived. Borygen is back.

Reunion

They've travelled to closest city in Athea, Aldur and had drink. They had a lot to talk about. Godren told them he will return to Spider and handle some of his personal business and will somehow handle the information he had about Sun Disc. Borygen had finished some of his personal agenda and was ready to return to the party, bringing 5th and last scroll with information about his missing divine weapon - it led to Lowerdark.
