Tunturimetsä

Tunturimetsä, which translates to "Fell Forest", is a vast and rugged woodland that dominates the northern reaches of Rimegard. The forest is known for its hardy, weather-beaten trees and the unique ecosystem that thrives in this harsh environment. The forest is characterized by its varied terrain, ranging from dense woodland in the lower elevations to sparse, stunted trees near the tree line. Numerous streams, fed by mountain snowmelt, carve their way through the forest, creating small valleys and ravines. The forest is patrolled regularly by Rimegardian rangers who monitor for giant activity, maintain trails, and manage the forest's resources sustainably. They also guide expeditions and ensure the forest's delicate balance is maintained.
