Blood Steak

Blood Steak is the sacred food of the Soldier, and prized among the upper classes of Palimpsest for its exoticism and scarcity. Traditionally made from Rhinoceros meat, which is imported from the Plane of Earth at great expense, the steak is heavily seasoned and seared in blood to seal in the juices. While technically cooked, Blood Steak is still mostly raw on the inside and the outside is protected by a shell of fried blood. The result is a gamey dish that is not for the faint of heart, but rather for those who value the taste of meat in its purest, most primal form.
