Craig "Craik" Cornell is the percussionist of the scrapmetal punk band, Diamondback. With his burning drumsticks, Craik bangs out a rhythm on a set of repurposed wooden kegs.

Craig was adopted and raised by a Syrinx family (owl people), which is why his birth name is not of Vishkanyan origins. When he joined Diamondback the other band members suggested he take a snake nickname, and after a lot of deliberation and several torn out notebook pages, Craig settled on "Craik", a mashup of his given name and the word "snake".
