Flytrap

The flytrap is a carnivorous plant that is native to the Plane of Earth and can also be found in certain areas of the material plane, including the Screaming Desert that surrounds the city of Palimpsest. The flytrap's leaves, which resemble jaws, snap shut when a fly or other small insect lands on them, trapping and digesting the prey.

The flytrap is the sacred plant of the Soldier constellation, representing a combination of strategic thinking and ruthless violence. Its ability to lure, trap and consume small creatures is reminiscent of the ambush tactics used by soldiers to defeat their enemies.
