Merfolk are Animalfolk who hail from the Plane of Water. They have the head and torso of a human, but the bottom half of a fish.

Merfolk appear in the Talitha Spice literotica novel, The Silk Riptide. The main character of the series (Qu'onan the Warrior Elf) visits West Star on an assignment from the Sixty Nine Scimitars and encounters a host of mermaids, who entice him away from his intended objective.
