Orcish Delight (Throat Comfort)

Orcish Delight is a Palimpsest jellied sweet that is traditionally served in bowls containing various coloured blocks in a range of flavours. Despite its name, Orcish Delight is actually a halfling confectionary.

It was dubbed Orcish Delight when it was introduced to the humans by the orcs of Palimpsest, but they got it from the halflings who lived further down in the city. The Halfling word for the sweets translates into Common as "throat comfort", and many halflings still call them this in their native language and when speaking Common.
Although traditionally a playful and interesting dessert, Orcish Delight is not always enjoyed in this way. Higher up in the city, the noble Dargent Family eat a single unflavoured silverleaf Orcish Delight between dinner courses as a palate cleanser.

Orcish Delight is also sometimes combined with other sweets. Daisy's Milk Bar mixes colourful orcish delight with Ice Cream to create Orcish Delight Sundaes.

On Scrapday, Sailormoon, 1313, Katiba Rouge Carterhold took Cassim Ashhide to show him the new property her family were purchasing. The pair both ordered Orcish Delight Sundaes, although, perhaps notably they didn't share a sundae despite the outing seeming to be a date.
