Relic of Uncompleted Journeys
In the ship's library of the Galleon cathedral of the Church of the Sailor is a big, old bronze-bound, leather waterproofed text of the Log of Uncompleted Journeys. The text predates the establishment of the Ecumenical Tabernacle, and contains several journeys that are now considered apocrypha. The official Log of Uncompleted Journeys has journeys that are closer to completion than they were when this text was written.
The first exclusive journey was removed because it was said to contain information too dangerous for public availability.
The second exclusive journey was, eventually, deemed to be, on reflection heresy.[
The third exclusive journey was removed for reasons not recorded in official logs, although it might just be because it made the Sailorite clergy look foolish.
Exclusive Journeys
According to the ship's librarian, Mister Turkey, the relic version of the text contains three journeys that do not appear in any other version:The first exclusive journey was removed because it was said to contain information too dangerous for public availability.
The second exclusive journey was, eventually, deemed to be, on reflection heresy.[
The third exclusive journey was removed for reasons not recorded in official logs, although it might just be because it made the Sailorite clergy look foolish.
"I can obliquely hint that the escapades of otherwise well-regarded historical clergymen depicted in the journey in question displayed a tendency to jump quite readily to wildly incorrect conclusions."Mister Turkey offers a cryptic explanation as to the reasoning for the removal of the third of the three exclusive journeys.
