The cousin of Reynard Althaelab, Renfield was one of the victims of the Jonas Fogg Medical College Asylum. He held the Pairaka, Aiseth Zenuim.
Before being captured by Ventril Clink and sold to the Shajaras (who then passed him along to Fogg), Reynard was a disgruntled millworker, reknowned for being a union troublemaker. However, as one of the most unfortunately uncharasmatic kitsune in Palimpsest, he was somewhat in over his head in his attempts to be a union leader, considered more of a pain than a threat to his bosses.
