Div Flaw: Oathbreaker
Sweeney, like all
Divs has a crack in his personality. His Div Flaw is an intense need to break any promises, agreements or bargains he's made. When Sweeney was first used by
Todfrey Laurence, Todfrey agreed to Sweeney's murderous persuasions so long as the razor never attacked him, personally, leading to Sweeney's subsequent elation at the feeling of double-crossing the barber ("fuck you, Todfrey").
When he was, briefly, in the possession of
Lindie Asklepa, she agreed to kill anyone he desired, so long as he promised to never harm her friends,
"Vulpix" and
Connie Furr. Thus Sweeney was driven to obsession trying to find and kill "the friends of Lindie the Vishkanya", even after he had been confiscated and sealed away in the headquarters of the
Undergazette. This rendered him unable to properly focus on releasing himself from his gem prison until that itch had been scratched.
He implanted shavings from the razor he was trapped in into the necks of the
Minotaurs, and (probably) the
Boggard Xolotl Bullford, in an attempt to widen his reach trying to find Connie and "Vulpix". The hair-puppets were also given the command to "kill the friends of Lindie the Vishkanya", and a huge mural of bloodsoaked hair was put up in the
Undergazette Headquarters depicting Connie (in
Bunbun form) and Vulpix (in
Kitsune form).
