The Sycamore Tree grows winged seedpods that fly on the wind and faraway from their mother tree. Where the pods land, a new Sycamore grows. Sailorite scripture sometimes alludes to the Sycamore pods in metaphors about travel, adventure and exploration, and for this reason, the Sycamore is the sacred plant of the Sailor.
