Touch of Death

The Touch of Death is bestowed by the angel inside the Wandering Moon.
According to Chaplin Sandglass, there are stories within the Order of the Moon in which the Wandering Moon chooses a justiciat to bring death to those who have evaded it. The Touch of Death allows the justiciat a one-time use to kill a creature with a single touch, slaying whatever creature the justiciat chooses regardless of any usual means of defence or escape (supernatural or otherwise).
It is the last resort against those who would seek permanent immortality: the main major taboo of the religion of the moon.

Symptoms

The hand of the individual fades into a sepia colour. The flesh disappears entirely under the light of a moon lantern, revealing the skeleton underneath, which has the swirling marking of the path of the Wandering Moon.
