Cody Bakerstreet and Rifi Darktusk, having become frontman and wingman respectively, select then 15-year-old Agamemnon Ironside as a mark. Across the table from him, Cody, Rifi and Grimoire Brasseyes exchange bets on how many pints of Bourbon the younger Subvizier could drink before passing out. Grimoire won the bet with 30 gp on him not completing a single glass below a graduation line that she magically scratched into the glass.
