Pandemonia

A world similar to Earth, with industrial revolution levels of technology. While Pandemonia suffered through global conflict, disease, and natural disasters, the world remained normal for the most part. That all changed with the arrival of the demons, for millennia they ravaged the world, countries rose and fell, millions were killed in the struggle for survival, but in the end, humanity prevailed. Furthermore, magic seeped into Pandemonia and it's organisms, some are miraculously born with magical abilities, while others gain it through rigorous study. In the modern day, demons still roam the lands, but in much smaller numbers and strength, tensions rise between countries, and people continue to suffer. With so many issues affecting the world, it is up to those brave or foolish enough to do something about it.
