Campaign 1 - Stolen Rain - Session 10 - The Epic Conclusion

The Party Line Up

The BOULDER! A monstrous vampire who identifies as an Orc.
Belle Juju, a Merfolk pirate with a magic flask that meddles with the forces of life and death.
Krumpa Dakka Waaah, the master Orc painter warrior who breathes life into color.
Edgar the Anointed, a vampire cleric pacifist, who wishes to heal the world with the light of the Immortal Sun.
The party used the key to activate the Sunken Temple which traveled underground and transferred them to the other side of Pandora leaving behind the scorching desert and moving into a frozen jungle?   Clearly Dancer is nearby and used the Orb they seek to create a blizzard in the jungle.   The Boulder's jungle wife, Redbraid, explained that her father's camp is just north of where they are and they should head that direction to gather information and most importantly introduce her new husband to her father.   When they arrive at the camp they find her people in disarray from the blizzard. Her father, Red Horn, is riding a frightened Gorehorn who is bucking and thrashing around the camp and several members are frozen in blocks of ice. They have 2 captive thralls caged up, a sky clan woman named Wise Owl and an imperial soldier they didn't get the name of. Battle breaks out between Krumpa, The Boulder, and the Imperial Soldier.   While the party calms the Gorehorn and thaws out some members a rival Jungle Clan attacks, THE RAPTOR clan, adding more chaos to the mix.   After many failed diplomacy attempts battle breaks out and Captain Tsunami was almost killed but due to Belle's intervention and the spirit of Volspa, Tsunami was spared by death's grasp.   Bell recruited Wise Owl and one of the Jungle Clan members to her pirate crew.   They learn that the empire has setup a camp further up north and head that way with Red Horn and his crew following in tow eager to stop Dancer from delivering the rain/ice orb to the empire.
They approach the camp with their small army and Edgar uses his connections with the empire to secure an audience with the field Marshal stating he had urgent news about the artifact.   Field Marshal William the Conqueror is the man who sent Edgar on his mission 70 years ago into the desert clan territory to smoke out a rumored vampire cabal threat.   Edgar is brought into the heart of the camp alone leaving the other heroes dealing with the soldiers at the gate in a full scale battle. Once alone, Edgar gives his report to William.   Edgar lies to the field marshal and states that he has learned that the ice orb is actually a bomb Dancer wishes to set off once the orb is brought to the emperor for an assassination attempt. Edgar requests to be given the orb so he and his crew can smuggle it into Sky Clan territory in secret so when they set off the bomb they will instead blow themselves up. The field marshal believes Edgar and agrees to the clever plan.   Dancer is given the cannon blueprints and then gives Edgar the orb and Edgar uses it to freeze all the imperial soldiers in the camp, but Field Marshal William and Dancer resist being frozen.   Seeing that he had been deceived by Edgar, the field Marshal draws his weapon and reveals that he sent Edgar on a wild goose chase 70 years ago to get rid of his righteous meddling.   As the Field marshal bears down on Edgar, he accepts his death saying a prayer to the immortal sun which causes the field marshal to mock him saying the immortal sun will judge him for his treachery as the field marshal rolls a nat 1 on his attack.   Instead of slicing Edgar in half, he himself topples over in half, the immortal sun has made it's judgement clear.   Dancer on the other hand grabs a sled and flees with the blueprints down the snowy slope behind the camp.   The rest of the party notice that the soldiers at the gate have froze over and quickly enter the camp to regroup with Edgar who explains that Dancer is escaping.   The Boulder quickly decides to push nearby wagons down the hill and ride them after Dancer. Dancer nearly escapes but Edgar uses the Rain/Ice orb to create an icy wind that pulls the wagons and Dancer high into the air in a whirling tornado.   Battle ensues and Dancer makes clones of himself to attack the heroes but Krumpa whirls his recently looted field Marshal's great sword and quickly dispatches all the clones revealing the real Dancer. Belle points a well aimed Cannon at Dancer and blasts him to 1 HP.   Dancer makes more clones in a last ditch effort to escape but Krumpa skewers him through the heart and unfortunately also skewers the blueprints. But maybe that is for the best of Pandora if the clans don't get their hands on cannon technology.   With the Orb recovered, Dancer and the field marshal slain, the mission is a success as the party returns to Downpour to restore the rain to the Desert Clan and reveal the information they have discovered.   The march towards the swamp clan to declare war comes to a holt and the players are gifted rewards from King Goldbraid.
Belle Juju is gifted a mighty sea vessel called "The Winds of Change" with sails made of the Demon wings gifted to her by the Octopus god Strix.   She and her assembled crew now patrol the seas to harass the Queen of Hearts and defend the coastline of the Desert Clan while gathering more and more pirates to add to Belle's growing fleet all bearing the burning mark of their captain.
Krumpa Dakka Waaah is given an ancient map from the clan's vault that reveals the last known location of an ancient "titan" he wishes to awaken and control to attack the Immortal Sun Empire. Krumpa assembles a team to search for the Titan with The Boulder and his wife Red Braid, along with his old friend Bitey the Gerblin King of the Sky Sea and with his horde of Gerblins. What terrors await Pandora in the upcoming years?
Edgar the Anointed became royal advisor to King Goldbraid to guide the clan into purging corruption from the nobility of the desert. All traitors who planned to sell off the Desert Clan to the Sky Clan had their title and lands revoked and given to the King's Council to manage. Reform has come to the Desert clan and the innocents will be protected in a new age of socialism.
Captain Tsunami and Owaka the 23rd voyage to the war torn north of the Mountain clan to return Volspa's Family Heriloom, the Leviathan Blade and deliver news of her heroic death to her mother and grandmother. As promised, King Goldbraid sent the Desert Clan's Navy fleet to offer aid to the Mountain clan during their hour of need.

Pandora Aftermath

The Region of Thunderhead was attacked by a golem nicknamed "The Invincible" as it reforms itself at midnight if destroyed. Destroying the creature is no easy task and nearly ended the life of the Great Bear God Grimclaw in his several attempts. The people of Thunderhead were forced to flee the region.   • The Mountain lost the region of Thunderhead which was a resource center • The loss of a resource center forced the Mountain Clan to dissolve 1 army   No other Faction can claim Thunderhead till Invincible is removed.
