Campaign 3 - Session 8 - Finale
Riding the back of Atoone, the party and the entire uptown stadium were lifted high into the sky towards Abaroth's Dragon Turtle Fortress.
Refusing to accept defeat, Rita Aegis rallied her now disgraced soldiers to take up arms and take the crown by force while Mother Winter was unconscious. The heroes leapt into action as Aegis soldiers poured into the flying stadium. The arena announcers, JR and Stef Mcwoman, decided to narrate the fight as if it were a normal Monday night stadium battle. Their loud vocal commentary lured out the male fighting champion, Rando, who threw his axe into the ring against the enemy Aegis soldiers. The crowd went wild from the back-and-forth action of the epic battle through the sky. The enemy dragon turtle would shoot blasts of elemental energy at the stadium, filling it with water and later with lava! Atoone sang her turtle song, keeping the heroes well healed during the confrontation.
Pugnius was interviewed mid-combat, asking who he was, and his response was "um, I'm a little busy," earning him the ring name "Lil Busy."
After an epic and intense battle, Rita was slain at the hands of the now-Queen Jazel Umber.
Atoone tackled the enemy dragon turtle, allowing the heroes to hop off Atoone and make their way to Abaroth's sanctum, where he was harnessing the power of the blood moon.
There were six red crystals that the party had to destroy to defeat Abaroth, as they were what transported him to the Blood Moon. Each crystal inside had a living creature that the party learned about after shattering three of the crystals and finding charred corpses falling out. Gud'rune used her magic nulling sword to break one of the cyrstals, and Amleth fell out safely but unconsciously. Abaroth taunted the Valkerie captain, stating how easy it was to tempt Amleth because his hatred for the nobles ran deep.
With this reaction, the party carefully managed to destroy the last of the crystals while saving the creatures inside, which happen to be two of Mother Winter's cubs, a small grizzly and a small panda. With the last anchor to this plane shattered, Abaroth's spiritual energy floated above the party, taunting how they may have won this fight, but he would be back with a vengeance on the next blood moon.
Jazel communed with Atoone, asking her how she could seal Abaroth away permanently, and the wise tortle explained that Jazel already knew how. Remember Sips and the Cup?
With that, Jazel gathered all the dream catchers from the party that were given to them by Koda, the great panda. Jazel then had the party gather their hands in a circle around the dream catchers, channeling all the energy that the heroes fought for into binding Abaroth into the dream catchers. Visions of the innocents of the Mountain Clan Visions of Choppa Visions of their journey to get to this point. Abaroth bellowed in horror as he was sealed into the dream catchers. Small beads of red crystals appeared within the webbing of the dream catchers, and reflections of abaroth peered back through. The evil had been vanquished.

Later, the party is celebrated in the streets of Bulwark with an audience of the now recovered Mother Winter.
Jazel addressed the crowd and made her first orders as queen.
1. The Aegis family will be punished for their actions by having 2/3s of their land and holdings seized but their people are not to be harmed any further as we have shed enough blood.
2. No longer will we hold provings where daughters fight to the death to prove themselves to be worthy of becoming valkerie. We are all sisters, and in this hour of war with multiple invaders we must come together and bolster our valkerie numbers. Hence forth all women of the mountain clan, regardless of their noble birth, can train to become valkerie. (in memory of Choppa)
Mother Winter punctuated these decrees with a loud roar causing the crowd to follow in cheers of "UMBER UMBER UMBER!"
