Delunustri peaks
Elements: fire-infused (read: hot) water and steam, aromatic herbs (jasmine, mint, tea, hemlock)
A sparsely-populated area of Caracar , extending along almost the entire east-west axis of the region, posing something of an impediment to most travel.
Geography
it is a roughly 50/50 mix of land and water, a mess of channels, islands, peninsulas, lakes and isthmuses on the scale of kilometres across. The local vegetation consists of various herbs, mostly strong-flavoured and –scented, which often impart their properties to the flowing streams (which can themselves be warm to boiling). Locals often navigate by scent and wind, since visibility is so poor.
Remote mountaintop waystations for the Grasshopper Knights were the only official presence in the region, now long since abandoned or repurposed.
The seas are difficult to cross, resulting in quite isolated cultures between the islands. a few daring merchants to cross the Boiling Ocean from ports in northern Antepar, however.

Natural Resources
the peaks have few strategic resources/elements (though it does export some herbs, which can be very expensive elsewhere but tend to be bought for a pittance). Delunustri water is also a popular gift, as it is one of several waters that "hold their heat", staying warm for long periods of time.
Steamshaping, an art mostly practiced by ex-pats – the ability to generate and manipulate steam being more useful away from the boiling oceans – and used in cleaning and laundering as well as in fighting.
