Fivefold

Humans are not immune to the five-fold symmetry that arises in most life in Antepar. Fivefolds, often known simply as Anteparans (though strictly that term refers to all inhabitants of Antepar, regardless of infusion), take the form of five human bodies joined together back-to-back, fused from shoulder-blades to hips. they have ten legs, ten arms, five heads. they typically mass between 150 and 400 kilos, but stand a little shorter than a comparable uninfused human as their neutral stance has somewhat bent legs. the five bodies are typically identical, though some fraction are born differently.
advantages:

• 360 degree field of awareness and action
• more hands
• 5 separate mouths, enabling everything from eating while talking to self-harmonising
• more total strength

disadvantages:

• much heavier
• bulkier, less flexible, and less able to navigate tight or cramped spaces - their spines are restricted in how much they can bend.
• slower-running
• unnerving to outsiders unused to them.
