Dragon riders of Jyla

The wild tribes folk of northern Jyla have manged to form a bond with the dragons that reside in the mountains. Having tamed these creatures they use them as flying mounts. The dragons themselves are of a smaller variety than the giants of legend. The tribes folk breed the dragons and rider and mount pair for life. Used mostly for hunting and protecting towns and settlements from large beasts and enemies, the riders are fearless and oft times can be known to be reckless. Sometimes are hired by the druids or parties seeking the mediation of the druids, to escort the people seeking mediation to the neutral ground.

Structure

Organised similarly to military units. with an overall commander, then split into unit captains. work independently but are still beholden? to the country's laws.

Public Agenda

To protect outlying settlements in the wild lands. Offer services as messengers, transport of people and items and escorts.
