Daring Duelists

As an organization, the Daring Duelists seem to be more of a band of boisterous swordfolk who are all members of the same merry lodge. They seem to spend their time drinking it up with the younger members of a cityy's or town's social upper crust. Many see them as the spoiled offspring of the privileged and wealthy. While some of their members actually are spoiled offspring, under that facade every single member is deeply committed to their cause.   Many of them are those who have survived wrongs commited by the wealthy and the privileged, giving them a very personal dislike for corruption. They teach those who are not accustomed to the rakish life how to behave well enough to fit right in.   The ways of the Daring Duelists is simple yet very effective. The spoiled youths are so arrogant and confident int heir infallibility that they will often brag about shady dealings as well as flexes of power done without remorse. A duelist takes the time to memorize what is being side so as to make note of it once they have returned home.   They will then send it to their local chapter, which could just be a small group of them sitting at the same tavern table. All the infornation they gathered is shared and discussed until a plan is made. Then guilty target are picked and they do their best to entice them in a duel that tragically turns into duel to the death, often at the behest of the unknowing target.   There is a great deal of pride amongst the wealthy and powerful. Being too cowardly to face down a challenge can ruin their reputations or, worse, their business. Once a duel has been accepted, it does not take very much to trick them into demanding a duel to the death. When that happens, the Daring Duelist will reveal the true level of their skill, which is very high as they train intensely with swords, and get down to killing their target before they realize they are in danger. There have been few rare acceptions who have escaped with their lives.
