Mazhon Jar Item in Pangorio | World Anvil

Mazhon Jar

Its Amazing

The Mazhon Jar is a creation made centuries ago by Mazhon the Mighty, the greatest of all human wizards. He made these jars to contain strange creatures that had appeared all across the world two millenia ago. Each jar keeps the captured creature in its own little nether world within the jar, something they seemed to crave.

The Collection

Mazhon made four jars. One for Mohgwhy, a butterfly-like creature that can warp the minds of any creature near it. A second jar was for Ohfellia, a dragonfly-like creature that can warp the bodies of creatures and plants near it. A third jar contains Hondhur, a scarab-like creature that can warp the environments near it. The fourth jar houses Ghanjyou, a mantis-like creature that warps time and reality near it.   Over time, the jars have become lost, their whereabouts unknown. Legends live on of the jars and the things that have happened to the foolish who try to use them. These tales have turned into hearth tales, the sort one reads to children at bedtime as most no longer believe or have forgotten the truth.   Who knows, maybe someday, they will be found and the truth in the tales revealed.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

A Mazhon Jar contains anything put into it in the proper environment. In the case of a creature, it will provide an entire nether realm capable of ensuring the captives well being.   The jar can also contain powerful objects in a way that prevents their power from interacting with the world outside the jar.

Manufacturing process

Unknown   Now and again copies of the jars will be made. They look like a Mazhon Jar but are simply enchanted containers that can only contain objects, not creatures. Many people have been swindled buying them.
