Lovaas Grah
A sacred tradition among bards that is most commonly used for settling disputes. The dagger in every bard’s starting equipment is a ceremonial dagger specifically for this purpose. To challenge another bard to such a bout is not to be done lightly and to refuse or to abscond from such a challenge without dire cause is considered the height of scandal among bards of nearly every social circle, level of renown, and college. No one law, governing body, or divine entity upholds this tradition officially, but bardic circles are infamously good at spreading the word about those who don’t pay heed to this tradition and ensuring they face consequences accordingly.
Lovaas Grah is a draconic phrase meaning “clash [of] soul-sound” and is the most well known name for this bardic ritual.
