Together we see them scheme & collude a plot of aspirational japery. To Prank Glynran. > killbilltheme.mp3 > Okay so the plan was as follows: Serenas would help get Romad gloves of thievery and when Romad gave the signal he would also apply a series of buffs through bardic magic. In the days leading up to the big prank, Gwyf would steal a single drop of Kirin's dream drugs as well as convince Scribius to help facilitate a dream message being sent through The Shadowcat to Liatris. They would mix the stolen dream drop in with the ink Scribius used to cast invitation so they could have a focus that would allow them to invite the devourer of nightmares. With the invitation accepted, Corayas helps Gwyf convice the entity to tell Liatris of the prank and to allow her the time she needs to transform and change her clothes. Gwyf did however have to enter a deal with The Shadowcat to accomplish this but as proficient in deals as he is, and armed with knowledge of The Shadowcat through Kirin's past exposition, he knew that the nightmare of a child like himself was a favourite meal for The Shadowcat to consume and by intentionally unbridling the Chaos of his dream Gwyf could induce one in himself easily enough while the invitation would also allow The Shadowcat to pass within the estate's wards long enough to consume said nightmare. > But not all is one sided, as Glynran is incredibly well connected and in fact has the workshop where Gwyf & Romad schemed under psionic surveillance so we see him take a series of prepatory actions for his response to their attempts as well such as stealing and retrofitting one of the antimagic items used by Asland's anti–beholder units to work as a cone instead of a sphere so he can selectively suppress the magic of his would be prankers. > Thirdly we see Liatris, who despite knowing the full emotional gravity this reunion must have for her old friends, still gives into their #LilShitInstincts, making preparations of her own > #FlashbackOver #BackToThePresent > Faelyn's appearance catches Glynran off guard just enough that he misses that Romad has taken the place of Liatris through shapeshifting, leaving a silent image of himself behind in his place, and willingly accepts the “hug” allowing Romad to slip through all the anti-fey wards Glynran had on, and the disguised changeling to use his 39 sleight of hand check to overcome the arcane locks on all Glynran's pockets. > Did he do anything with this access? > ♡No♡ > He did however transfer that slight of hand to tying ropes around Glynran's ankles (Gwyf soulwove the ropes)!
