S22 Recap: Skater Punk Paradise

Romad No Rabies! Romad No Rabies! Romad No Rabies! > “Ok but we should probs bury these fuckers” > “Does anybody have a shovel?” > Party: “Nupz...” > Knick Knack: “Don't worry fam, I gotchu!” > EXTENDO SHOVEL! > Isati: “This makes no sense.” > Knick Knack: “Got it off a gnome a few years ago!” > Isati: “This makes at least some sense now.” > #StandardGnomishNonsense > We hit the road, and as the city of Hilltop comes into sight, so too does a group of halfling teenagers walking up the Very Steep hill with some planks of wood > Weird. > (Ten minutes later) NYOOOOOOMMM! > Corayas & Serenas in tandem: “SKATEBOARDS!!!” > Corayas convinces the crew to let them try > ThatOldCorayasCharm™.png > The party takes turns bombing the hill > Serenas nails it with a bit of speed wobble > Corayas fucking COMMITS but is not quite the natural athlete that Serenas is and bails pretty hard > I_BELIEVE_I_CAN_FLY.mp3 > But with a good reaction time and some decent luck, Corayas acts on the “TUCK AND ROLL DUDE” and breaks his fall safely, rolling through the grass to the bottom like a champ. And it only hurt a little! > #ThatAdrenalineTho > Isati takes to the board like a moth to the sky. Her wings and dress generate enough drag that the board isn't going as fast as the others and in a feat of on brand grace, Isati practically dances down the hill before fluttering off the board in the bowl > With a new experience under their belt the party makes their way through the city > The crew get some Hot chocolate on a hot summer day > Nova chugs their cup and immediately starts to jam out with the local musicians > Serenas joins in on a flute and Romad has it with his unique combination of CSL and vogueing > By sheer serendipity the completely unrelated songs that the DM chose worked stupidly well together, causing the game to halt for a minute due to a very mild manic breakdown > Serenas attempts to go barefoot like Corayas and Nova only to discover that asphalt is FUCKING HOT > Isati finally gets her injury checked out > And that's where we'll pick up next week!
