In true pre-fight jitters we spend the first 20 minutes talking about everything but the game > #NeedlessWorry > And in typical fashion, the entire party goes before the opposition > Nova readies in wait; giving in to the invasive thought all shapeshifters grapple with > #InsideJob > The #GiantSnakeFriend promptly lives up to its name and constricts the fuck out of a basilisk > however this leads to a series of mind fucks for the DM as she attempts to > 1) picture what the fuck that would look like > 2) navigate the fact that the snake is so fucking big that it would basically bring the entire combat to a halt if it stopped in front of the door > as such... > RollAwayYourSnaAaAaAake.mp3 > The three boys all loose some basic but effective attacks on the basilisk still in sight > This softens it up just in time for Kirin to pull off some #HotGirlShit > “The rest of you watch as Kirin shrouds herself in wind, drawing back the arrow of piercing in her bow as the blessing of the war gods manifest nigh visibly upon her form. Pulling a twister of drilling turbulence behind it, the missile leaves nothing of the monster's form and continues to travel well out of sight > #-53/52HP, #Nat20Life #MessesHaveBeenMade > Oh and she also took another shot at the cultist fuck in the back > Because fuck em > Isati lets loose two astral blasts but only the one hits > This only matters so much since it still deals a beefy amount of damage. > Finally we get to the basilisks turn! > … > ... > “Ok so it's the cultist's turn!” > he walks out with a hole bored through his torso and covered in basilisk goo (which is low key depetrifying the other wise solid skin of cursed iron) > This trigger's Nova's readied action and -somehow- in all the pain and confusion this bastard must be feeling, he does not notice his mid-battle snack > #SpidersGeorge > Unaware of the Nova in his mouth, the Cultist conjures a wall of cursed iron sand in between him and the party in an attempt to buy time and free his basilisk from the #GiantSnakeFriend instead of making a last ditch attack > “The Following Content Matter Contains Scenes of Extreme Violence & Gore.
