The Splitting of the Universe
Metaphysical / Paranormal event
The mythos of how Salles took the one world, ravaged and corrupted by millenia of divine war, and split it into the current Planar system
Once Salles ascended to the throne of the heavens, his first act as king of the cosmos was to split the realms into separate planes of existence. The world was once a singular space enclosed within the shell of all creation. The Heavenly Dome above, the inverse Tartarean Pit below, and bordered by the great encircling river Okeanos. All things existed in a perfect balance. Self correcting though it was, this balance could not withstand the force of millions of year of war. The world Salles observed was one where the starving masses fed on the corpses of fallen gods. Where space and time were torn to ribbons and twisted back unto themselves. Where the divine shell which had once protected their universe from the eternal chaos of the Far Realms was riddled with holes drilled by the gods themselves to summon and enslave powerful foreign creatures to use in their war. With the cosmic scepter of Phanes in hand, Salles took to the throne and from his mouth rung out the First Decree:
"All Shall Not Be One, And Balanced Shall Be All."
And to these words did the world respond. First the One World became Three:
To the Heavens did rise the bodies and homes of gods, and to the Pit did fall the lands of death, and the prisons of Ekhidna's brood. Left to the Worldly Circle were the mortal Kin as well as the spirits of nature and domains of the mortal condition. But the planes had yet to find stability, and so further still did the world divide.
From the Heavenly Dome rose the palace of the gods Mount Ankathaios and the five skies; Aether, Erebos, Hypnos, Khaos, and Ouranos.
In the Worldly Circle, born were the planes of Gaea, Nymphaea, and Okeanos.
And then finally in the Cosmic Pit, Asphodel, Elysium, Erinyes, Hades, Kampe, and Tartaros did manifest.
Still unbalanced yet unable to divide further, Salles took to shaping the realms with his own hands. First he called forth the divine essences of fallen gods and heroes and shaped them into planar seeds of Worldly Circle. From Apollo he formed a plane in honor of his twin Artemis and their shared domain of the hunt. From Pan and Dionysus he made the wild and revelrous lands of the fae, From Hephaestus the plane of forge and creation.

The seventh plane was crafted from the soul of the mortal hero Daedalus who was the caretaker of Salles in the god's childhood.
For the Cosmic Pit, Salles beckoned two planes of existence from the same distant realms the gods had summoned their new soldiers from in the Metisean War. Known as the Nine Hells of Baator and the Infinite Abyss, these two planes existed as equal forces of cosmic balance. In their similarities however, the Abyss was absorbed and fused into Tartaros, while the lawful nature of Baator allowed it to secure its' autonomy from the Pit.
Finally in the Heavenly Dome, Salles shaped a piece of his own essence into a small plane from which he could rule with absolute authority. Undeniable by even the primordials themselves.
