Battle for Beastling Village

These are, to my knowledge, the events that occurred during the massive conflict between the Imperium Ignis and the Beastling Village.

Initial Skirmishes

Tensions escalate as whispers of an impending conflict echo throughout the world. The Imperium Ignis, an empire of formidable might suspects the intentions of the Beastling Village to dismantle the empire and its cities. One major incident is the burning of the Blue Palace, a settlement made for the leaders of the Hanging Gardens. The empire claims the burning to be the works of beastlings. In return, the residents of Beastling Village claim to be disrupted by the empire's fleet, destroying the village's ships and docks.

Declaration of War

A week after the burning of the Blue Palace, the empire announced its intent to war against the Beastling Village. Soldiers were gathered to destroy the village and their rebellion. Many villagers faught back, hosting a small army of their own. Beastlings from the empire's army began to defect and retaliate as well.

Forest Arson

The forests of the Beastling Village were under heavy pressure from the Imperium. Arson was used to pave the empire's advancements towards the village. By establishing settlements on the island of the village, the Imperium cut off the supply lines from the mainland that supported the villagers.

Attacks on Caldera

In return, the city of Caldera faced repeated ambushes and guerilla attacks by beastling forces, destroying the city's warehouses and technological hubs. This terrorism disrupted the city's operations and plunged the citizens into fear. The clash resulted in an outroar from both the empire and its citizens.

The Order of the Knights' Intervention

After a few months, both sides have suffered major damages. Many bystanders were affected in the process. The Beastling Village suffered the most damage. Amidst the chaos, the villagers, resilient but outnumbered, sought aid from the Order of the Knights. The Knights, valuing the beastlings' aid in the past, aligned themselves with the beastlings, providing supplies and manpower support.
Marley was killed a few weeks after the Knights announced their involvement in the war. I'm here to complete the story as of today. I think it's what he would've wanted.

Isagi vs. the Shadow Drake

As battles continued on, we were given word of a Shadow Spirit that attacked the village's island. We called it a Shadow Drake. Up until now, we don't know where it came from or how it manifested but it attacked both sides mercilessly, killing Marley in the process. The village was in serious danger.   Isagi came around shortly after. He was one of the strongest people you would ever find. A close friend and a good rival. He was so fast that after one blink, he would disappear from your field of vision. A monster vs a monster. He confronted the spirit head-on, having one advantage. He wielded a Blessed Weapon sword, dealing incredible damage towards the Shadow Drake. Unfortunately, the Shadow Drake also had a few tricks up its sleeve and it was neck-in-neck.   Isagi rushed the spirit down one final time. His sword shined so brightly, it was hard to see what happened next. But in a flash, it was over. He sacrificed himself to slay the Shadow Drake. We find his dead body standing, his sword beside him, and the drake's head cut cleanly before disappearing.

Ceasefire

Witnessing the battle, the Beastling Village issued a plea for a ceasefire. Surprisingly, the Imperium agrees. The conflict still hangs in the air though.
