Lersan Codra (leɾsan ˈkodɾa)

A fictional figure from mythology, and the lead character in the opera "Cupbearer to the Gods," based on the myth in question.   He's a teenage boy, of astounding beauty, who is abducted by a god to, the place where all the gods live, and where the gods then compete for his affection, before he's made their servant for all time, with eternal youth and beauty in return.
According to the myth, as presented in the opera, Lersan was a shepherd on the island Yebsur Trol Tebron. On one hot summer day he was sleeping, leaning against a tree when a god, saw him, found him to be the most beautiful mortal boy he's ever seen, so the god transformed himself into an albatross and abducted Lersan to the dwelling of the gods. The other male gods became jealous and a competition began to seduce the young man so he’d declare himself for one of them, until the god who abducted him shot lightning at the other gods and told them that he kidnapped Lersan to keep him for himself. After a weeklong war between the gods, that resulted in multiple earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanoes in the world of mortals, killing thousands, the shapeshifter god remained victorious and kept Lersan for himself.
