The shadowlands is a place not many dare travel, and there is a good reason for this.

Geography

The shadowlands are a dark, horrific reflection of the prime material plane.
It has frequent random spots of dark dustclouds that drive a sane mind mad.
There are almost no larger cities in the entirely of the shadowlands, as not a lot of races or species can even live there, those that can are already corrupted.
