Geography
The Central Highlands sits at a high elevation to the west of the Elasayn Basin, the area is naturally bordered by a series of mountain ranges and cliff faces that run the vertical length of the continent save for a gap in the middle of sloped grasslands.
To the north is the Howling Peninsula where the Wolf Claw Mountinas give way a bulge of land that extends out into where the Corridor Sea empties into the Black Iron Ocean. The forests that cover the land and surround Broken Tooth Lake are humid all year around which is where the name Damp Forest comes from, because it's inhabitants have a hard time ever truly drying off.
South of the cliff gap is known as the Mountain South and is the eastern edge of the largest collection of mountain ranges on Parllos that span the remainder of the Central Highlands, through the Choke(?) where the Five Sentinels are located, to nearly a third of the Western Steppe.
