Babbling Brook

Babbling Brook runs the Sohmweyr General Store. She was a sailor during her late teens but took a bad fall during a storm; her left leg broke and didn't heal right. She's not overly hindered but uses a combination cane/reaching stick.
While her gammy leg keeps her from setting any speed records getting around, she completely makes up for it in her speech: any rumors she's heard, her thoughts on the weather, or the most recent accomplishments of her three children will tumble from her mouth without a moment's notice or a word in edgewise. The one thing she doesn't mention is who the father of her children is.
