Us Among the Fungus Session 1 Report

General Summary

Tup , Brandilyn Hart and Vihra Durnova left the former Elf-Eaters' Camp determined to explore the mine they had discovered. Upon arriving, they encountered a strange little being, a Leshy named Quiet Branch in the Sun and his Fungus Leshy familiar, Sticky Bottoms. The child-like leshy decided to accompany the others into the mine. Upon arriving in the mine, some of the fungus tore itself from the wall in the form of a fungus leshy who was quite upset at Tup because she ate some of his friend, Bahb, the last time the PCs were in the mine entrance. After some discussion, the leshy guard agreed to allow the PCs to speak to the local mushroom king, Grrk . Grrk asked if the heroes would assist him with a problem..seems the fungus kingdom has a bit of an issue with the occasional run-ins with some Dero that live beyond the mine and they asked for assistance. Tup, Brandi and Vihra agreed to help (with Quiet tagging along) The group entered the mine, ran afoul of a swarm of vampire bats which vexed Brandi mightily and discovered an area that had been closed off with rocks. Entering the area, they noticed the smell of rust and a distinct lack of metal...they had entered a (very hungry) rust monster's lair!!! In the battle that followed, Vihra lost her rapier to the rust monster's attacks but ultimately the party was successful.
