Chasing Tales

Chasing Tales is a bookstore and writer's workshop owned by Zakina Kociak-Falenmir. It also hides one of many secret entrances into the Grove of Foxes Florence lodge. Chasing Tales is small compared to other libraries, given that it's taller rather than wider. It has two stories, the first floor containing the library itself and a comfortable seating area for a small number of people.
Upstairs is the area where Zakina or other local authors hold their workshops. When the space isn't being used for these events, it serves as a quiet space for students to study and work on their manuscripts. The entrance to the writer's guild library is on the first floor, hidden behind one of the bookshelves. This shelf is designed to open up should somebody pull several books in a specific sequence. The books in question sit upon pressure plates, so when they're all pulled away, the door will slowly spring open.
The interior design of Chasing Tales is reminiscent of a comfortable cabin out in the woods. It's to promote a cozy atmosphere, making it much easier for people to concentrate on their work or one of the library's many books. It isn't uncommon to see stray cats lounging inside of the building.
