Vanessi Len

A sad, troubled human woman that was displaced during the war. It was revealed that she's Samuel's mother. Vanessi had let her husband at the time send Samuel away to the military when the pair had children of their own because they couldn't afford to care for him as well. The truth was that his family resented him, his step-dad especially, and wanted him gone.

By the time the party meets her, Vanessi is all alone. Alberto took off with their children, Emilia Aldana and Isaac Aldana, and hasn't been seen since. The relationship between her and Samuel was frigid and nearly non-existent. While she tried to speak with him on several occasions, Samuel understandably didn't want to hear her excuses on why she abandoned him.
