August 2023 Homework

1. What’s the worst thing your character has ever done? Why did they do it?   2. What is something your character carries around constantly (whether mundane, magical, or sentimental)?   BONUS: What stereotypical role would your character play in a high school AU if they attended a normal high school?
1. Without a doubt, the worst thing Kina has done was sentence a Norn to a life of imprisonment in Pandemonium. While she knows it was cruel, she doesn't feel guilty about it. To her, it was justified since the Norn had sold the party out to the Baba Yaga and intended to leave them trapped in her hut for god knows how long. It's a permanent mark against Kina from a moral standpoint, but it isn't a choice she regrets. Jordeira has a long list of horrific crimes, but if he were asked, the worst thing he ever did was kill his sister. It was an act of mercy to save her from the torment being inflicted by his former master, Ariamis. In doing so though, his sister's soul was bound and consumed by the Nameless One.   2. Kina is a bit of a pack rat and carries a lot of things. She refuses to go anywhere without a bag of cosmetics and a change of clothes. Her engagement circlet is another must as it keeps her safe from fire, which she still fears to this day. The Mask of Lochoria is another essential, mainly because it's the easiest way of communicating with Iolond. Jordeira carries around a kit that he uses to maintain his body when he doesn't have access to magic. He keeps dried flowers and herbs in order to disguise the smell of undeath. He threads them throughout the inside of his armor and replaces them daily. The kit also includes a needle and thick thread that he uses to keep his skin stitched together.   Bonus: Kina, with her flair for the dramatic and costume-like outfits, would absolutely be a theater kid. Jordeira would be a goth, there's literally no other answer for him.

1) Industria has never done a wrong thing in her life. Perhaps Outdustria's slaughter of the civilians of a slaver city- though neither of those were truly her. Industria carries shame for their actions in the war and would resolve her worst actions to involve a siege of an enemy fort to starve them out. Perhaps you could argue her worst actgions were her support of her sister, a deliberate blind spot she carried. And I think Industria would agree with you.   2) Discouting her 'adventuring items,' many of which she does carry in her day to day life, Industria typically travels with several of note. Primarilly is the Beacon of True Faith- once burrowed from an outpost of the Caelsimilian gods it has been reliberated as a sort of rod of office since she's taken a position within it. She also always has her mother's rapier- despite possessing and having one much more powerful a part of her heart holds onto it for her mother's sake and that of the old days durring the war. The Snake Jewel was a prize a young Ilyana won and gifted her mother and always has a spot in her purse- along with the bride's maid gift from Kina.   B-b-b-b-boooownus: I feel the easy question would be that she would be popular, but thats a bit of a misnomer. If we are talking world reset based on the early character starting in a highschool- she was a sheltered religious kid who loved her mother and seemed not to be a rule breaker (though would).
