She finds nothing unusual about unlife, though perhaps due to her early and lifelong exposure to it her perspective is complex. The undead certainly all share traits that not only made it clear in some ways she was an outsider amongst them, but also that were less than pleasant- many taking no issue with forms of rot and decay. 1.) From her father, Thimble has learned that money is a curse and a blessing. It gave people a way to seek out their dreams, but it was also a tempting source of corruption. Glendil feels that it's better to be rich in experiences rather than materialistic possessions. So long as a person had friends and family, that was all they truly needed to be happy. While the sentimentality is lost on Thimble for the most part, she does understand that it's better to value good people over potential coin.   2.) Ratfolk are assumed to be disorganized hoarders and thieves, specifically pickpockets. They're seen as conniving bastards who would scam everyone if they could get away with it. In extreme cases, people think of them as carriers of disease or simple pests that live in "swarms". Thimble subverts most of the stereotypes. She's organized to an obnoxious degree and honest, though that honesty leads to her shooting herself in the foot often. She's maintains a clean and mostly formal appearance, even when getting ready for bed.   She does have her moments of thievery though. Most of the time, she's just being nosy. Thimble doesn't necessarily want your stuff, but she does want to know what it is, and how you got it.   3.) Given Thimble's occult abilities, she's encountered spirits who were mostly harmless. She hasn't encountered corporeal undead before, though the desert is full of stories of tombs overrun with zombies. She finds necromancy fascinating, but hasn't been able to study it beyond its basic applications, such as preserving bodies for funerals. Reanimating the dead and other darker shenanigans are knowledge she has yet to acquire.
