8/14/2022 Post-Session Character Questions

  • Talk about a responsibility that your character has that they hate. What don't they like about it? Why do they do it anyway?
  • What is one thing your character would change about the person they love the most in this world?

    1. Zakina absolutely hates being a queen. She doesn't regret toppling the corrupt power structure of Basilla, but she doesn't enjoy having to navigate the world of politics to build something better. Politics isn't among her strengths, so she relies heavily on Rikius and Industria to give her the knowledge she needs to succeed. She could appoint somebody else to take over the role, but she wants to ensure that the corruption that ruined Basilla before has no chance of happening again.   Jordeira, despite willingly opening a school to train monster hunters, doesn't enjoy teaching. It's hard for him to work at someone else's pace and even more difficult for him to bite his tongue when someone doesn't show immediate progress on the skills they're learning. He puts himself through it though because the world needs more skilled hands to protect those who can't defend themselves. He's learned so much in life, so he'd rather not let that knowledge waste away.     2. Jordeira would want Lucky to be less naive. Despite being so much older than the rest of the party, Lucky still carries a level of innocence that's easy to manipulate. He doesn't want them to be cynical like he is, but their naivete is a dangerous weapon for somebody else and often gets them into trouble.   Zakina wishes Rikius wasn't so uptight. While he's able to loosen up around her and their family, he can't seem to relax in more public settings. She wants everyone else to see past that, but it's difficult when people think he's intimidating and cold.

    1. taking care of her home as someone whos never really home much its hard to juggle the adventure life and home life not to say she dosnt love being home with her kids but after fighting some kind of demigod or being of pure power the last thing she wants to do is clean up at home especially when one kid has the powers of a demigod and the other is training with Tenin its a very destructive home. why does she do it anyway? well actually she dosnt she payed a rediculous amount to have the home do it itself because its easier and lets be honest way cooler   2.Industrias confidance and outspoken nature is part of how elathera and her became best friends but her just plain stubborness has caused many fights with other creatures thats really the only thing shed want to change just for her to dial it back 2 steps

    1. Generally speaking Industria doesnt mind responsibility, duties, or work. But the truth is she knows she cant take it all on, lately she has seen the writing on the wall of what is to come, the hypothetical "Big Button." Industria can feel the weight of the world on her shoulders and does not revel in the idea that a mistake could last generations, passed the death of even her longest living friend, the idea of bringing evil or harm into the world is one she cannot abide, yet something she knows will happen, either due to her choices direct or through inaction caused by her fear and worry to take on more.   2. Elathera cheap. Vihrea evil.   2. (But more in depth) Ilyana is a monster Industria herself made. That's not to say she's evil, but she misses the days of traveling together with her daughter- fighting side-by-side against lesser threats. She's strong, independent, and constantly takes on more than she needs to- all things Industria taught her.Thats not to imply they never see eachother, but she just wishes she could have had a little longer with her daughter.
