1. While Kina feels that the philosophy of the "greater good" is something worth thinking about, she feels that it's often misunderstood and therefore abused by people who are looking to justify extremely questionable deeds. For her, there has to be boundaries to some degree or a person isn't the saint they think they are, but rather a sociopath. In some case scenarios, this philosophy doesn't leave any room for nuance, just like the concept of morality as a whole that's gripped the universe since the beginning of time. Kina's willing to go quite far for the sake of the greater good, but in her mind, she doesn't see herself as a hypocrite because she genuinely believes she's utilizing the concept much more reasonably than others have.
Jordeira wants to do good for the world, but he doesn't adhere to the broad and often vague notion of a "greater good". To him, it feels like a perfect excuse for the power hungry and irresponsible so that the consequences of their actions are minimized. He realizes that not every believer of that philosophy are awful individuals, but the concept blurs the lines between "good" and "bad" a bit too much for his liking.
2. Kina's greatest fear is abandonment. It's a fear she's always had due to what Asri put her through as a child. Life only solidified it as she struggled to fit in and was cast aside by many, even those that claimed to care about her. While some would shy away from forming any connections, Kina's fear only fueled her to cling onto any shred of affection and kindness she could get. She comes across as intense and clingy, but all she wants is to love and be loved. Jordeira's fear is a loss of control over himself. He was used as a weapon of fear and chaos by horrific beings all of his life. In a world of magic, he can't help but look over his shoulder to ensure that he won't be bound to someone else's whims. He spent so much time as a slave and now he'll do anything necessary to keep his newfound freedom.
Bonus: Kina would be the Aries. She's surprisingly brave despite the horrors she's witnessed in life. Passion is a given for her, especially when it comes to her artistic endeavors. When she's given a task, she's determined to see it through no matter what and as such, she doesn't leave things unfinished. But she's also incredibly impulsive, sometimes to the point of being reckless. She's also impatient and will seek out instant gratification even if the situation has a risk of blowing up in her face.
Jordeira would be the Scorpio. He's stubborn, or rather, bullheaded; which has equal chances of working in his favor or backfiring completely. Unfortunately, he's a very jealous person and he isn't good at hiding that fact. He's also unforgiving as he takes great offense to any perceived slight against him. He's very resourceful though and always able to rise up to a challenge.
