Goals:

Sparta under Gorgo understood the need for obedience and loyalty in a realm of heroes, gods, and monsters. Heroes would come to the realm each month and try to achieve glory for themselves in the realm. They did not care for the people that lived here, and left towns and communities in ruin. Sparta’s main goal is having accountability and a chain of command for the heroes. Not just with the Divine but with mortal kingdoms of the land.   Almost as important is a need for Aegean League and Sparta to join successfully or find an heir to Sparta. Her relationship with the king of the Aegean League has made other leaders uneasy about the concept of their strength. Therefore, she is trying to make alli-ances and treating to ease the people of the land. For Gorgo is aware of a problem com-ing, and that problem is named Alexander. His army was unbeaten under his control, and there is a prophecy that he will return to claim the crossroads with conquest. All the king-doms will need to align to achieve victory per the prophecy.

Relationships:

Sparta has a relationship with every city, town, tribe, herd, and society that is known to exist inside her kingdom. They all are required to answer the call should Sparta need them, and for that they live a free life. Where their heads of state or rulers rule over them. Rarely does Sparta involve themselves with running the people of the land. Although, they gain the Spartan soldiers for following the laws of Sparta.   As stated, the relationship between the King Destin and Gorgo has reached the point of marriage with the birth of their child Aegis. This has caused the other mortal leaders’ ques-tion how the two kingdoms will be running, and whether they are too powerful. Sover-eignty is important to all the kingdoms. Des-tin stated as long they are fit to rule there should be no issues, whereas Gorgo believes the people decided not outside influences. Both ideals do not sit well with the other kings, and relationships are almost non-existent.
